Change is inevitable…Except from a Vending Machine {SweetLife Business News}

First, let me start by thanking you all for supporting SweetLife Photography. I’m overwhelmed with love and support from my friends, family and clients. When I first decided to journey down the path of small business ownership, it seemed pretty straight forward and simplistic – at least I thought MY business plan was. Well… business in general ain’t simple. I know, I know… you could have told me that, right? Well, I’m still (and always will be) learning and developing my brand & business and with growth comes change. Hold on though…don’t roll your eyes yet…it’s not going to impact your SweetLife Photography session much at all, I promise. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new and what’s changin’…

{New: Online Viewing and (optional) Ordering Gallery}

      1. VIEW YOUR PHOTOS FASTER. You’ll get to see the photos from your ENTIRE session {not just the 2-3 Sweet Peeks} a lot sooner. Galleries will be made available within 3-5 days.  From your gallery you can ”share” on Facebook or send a link via email to friends & family anywhere. Your gallery will be accessible from the CLIENT LOGIN tab on the SweetLife Photography home page and is password protected.
      2. ONE-STOP PRINT SHOPPING. Your gallery is connected directly to a professional print lab (my fave, Mpix) that offers high quality digital prints, large prints, canvas prints and more at very reasonable prices. This added service eliminates the stress of figuring out where to go to print your photos or where to get a canvas made etc… It’s a seamless, easy process you can order directly from your SweetLife Photography online viewing gallery. Choose the photo, choose the print size, enter your address and billing info and VIOLA! By the way, the friends & family you shared your gallery with can also print directly from your gallery – no need to pass around the CD or try to send the large print files via email. How’s that for convenient?
      3. NO REQUIREMENTS. Ordering through the website is NOT required and a minimum spend is NOT required either. It’s your choice whether or not to print through my printer.

{Change: the Session CD}

      1. EMAIL & WEB ONLY. I know it’s important (it is to me, too) to be able to share and display your beautiful new photos on Facebook and other social media websites. It’s also important (although I’ve made this easier for you with the “share” feature in the gallery – wink, wink) to be able to email your images to friends and family too. New full session CD’s will now include digital lo-resolution (meaning smaller in size, NOT print worthy and include a SweetLife logo) versions of your images, ONLY.
      2. YOU STILL HAVE OPTIONS. Now, if you’d rather print your photos on your own (I still STRONGLY recommend using a reputable print lab of some kind – at least for canvases and prints over 11 x 14), I will still gladly put the print version of your session photos on the CD too… there is a nominal fee of $10 for this. {Please note – you must inform me of this add-on before your session CD is sent. If a second CD is required, the additional CD is $15.}

My goal is to continue providing all my clients with beautiful portraits, excellent customer service and the personal attention you are used to receiving from me, while keeping investment affordable. I hope you’ll agree that these tiny changes are for the better and I hope you enjoy the added convenience and service from SweetLife Photography. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

Amanda

{Add-on’s and changes will take affect immediately. Clients with sessions booked prior to 2/1/12 will receive the added bonus of the client viewing gallery but will still get the print files on CD as well.}

Pretty Bittys {Phoenix Children’s Photographer}

I feel blessed to have so many friends and clients that are mommy’s and that understand and appreciate capturing as many of these blissful moments as possible. I’m grateful they’ve enlisted my help to creatively capture their beauties and cuties too!

{Miss B} is a SweetLife Veteran baby model. Her mommy and daddy are dedicated SweetLife Clients and many of their photos are featured on the SweetLife Photography Website from their Baby Bump Session, Newbie Session and now their most recent Kiddo Session.

Thanks {Miss B} for making me look SO good!:)

Next up is {Miss E}. She’s a teeny, tiny 9 month old who LOVES the camera! Every time I said her name to grab her attention, she posed and looked directly into the lens. And look at those crystal clear blue eyes and long, dark lashes. GORGEOUS!

Aren’t {Miss B} and {Miss E} adorable? How lucky am I to get to photograph these and all the other cuties?

Tiniest SuperHeroes {Phoenix Newborn Photographer}

Back in November, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautifully pregnant, soon-to-be momma of  twin boys. She was literally beaming with joy and excitement. Toward the end of her Baby Bump Session, she casually mentioned how much she and her husband LOVE All-Things-Superheroes. I tucked that little tid bit away for future reference with hopes that I’d be fortunate enough to meet these little guys once they arrived.

Just before Christmas I got an email from Momma inquiring about a Newbie Session for her boys. YAY! That night (within an hour or so after we’d been emailing) her water broke! These little fellas made their debut…several weeks early. After a couple of weeks in the hospital, they made it home. I was invited to their home to snap some precious shots of the world’s NEWEST & TINIEST SUPERHEROES!

Again, congrats to the {P Family} & Welcome {Baby C} & {Baby J}!

Vintage Glam Girls {Phoenix Teen Photographer}

Sometimes photo shoots take on a personality of their own and this one definitely did! Of course, with the help of these two beauties. Although mom mentioned that one of the girls LOVED getting her photo taken and the other…well, not so much…BOTH girls did fabulous and the session was a total ‘Vintage Glam’ success!
