To follow is a guide to help you understand how your experience with SweetLife Photography will unfold.
First things First
In order to “officially” book and confirm your session date, a deposit of $25 is required. Deposits are typically paid via PayPal or Credit/Debit card and can be made HERE. The deposit will act as a “down payment” and will be put toward your full session fee. Your balance will be collected at the end of your session.
Location, Location, Location
I have a number of great locations in Phoenix, Glendale & Scottsdale that I love to shoot at that I can recommend based on the style of session you are looking for. There are plenty of beautiful locations in every city that would make excellent backdrops for your session so if there is a special place that you love, just let me know. *$25 Travel Charge applies to locations 20+ miles outside of 85023.
The Week Of
Roughly one week before your session, I will email to confirm our session. It is at this time I will have reviewed the weather forecasts and together we will re-evaluate and/or re-schedule, if necessary. In the meantime, start putting some real thought toward what you and the family plan to wear. Nothing is more stressful than waiting until hours before your session to pull everyone’s outfits together. Feel free to visit my Wardrobe page if you need some suggestions. Also, if there is a special prop or toy that you wish to be in your photographs, please plan to bring it along. Speaking of special props, if you plan to bring along a furry friend/family member, please make sure they are well-behaved, leashed and you bring someone along to help wrangle your pup while I’m snapping some shots of just you and your family.
The Day Of
For Family & Group, Maternity & Kiddo sessions, I love to just hang back and capture those moments that come naturally and toss in a few stylistic “sweet shots” as well. Newbies are a totally different story, read more about those HERE.
{The balance of your session fee is due at your session. Forms of payment are: cash, personal check or credit card. You may also choose to pay in full ahead of time via PayPal by submitting payment HERE}
I will also be asking you to sign a model release & photo usage agreement (just legal stuff about copyrights and usage of the photos).
Cancellation
Should you need to cancel for any reason, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance so we can reschedule or refund your deposit. I understand things come up, just shoot me a quick text/email and let me know.
The Goods
Following our session, I will begin the process of downloading and digitally enhancing your images.
Shortly after our session, usually within 2 days, I will post a couple {Sweet Peeks} from your session on my SweetLife Photography Facebook fan page. You are welcome to tag yourself and download these low-resolution images.
Within 5-7 days, an online viewing gallery will be made available to you. Here, you are able to view, share and order prints of the final images from your session. There is no print requirement so you are welcome to order whatever you like.
If you purchased a Gallery CD from your session, I recommend printing your images at a professional print lab (as opposed to your 1-Hour Photo Center) to ensure the highest quality for your frames and walls as well as to protect the integrity of my work.
