Remembering Motherhood | Desert Ridge In-Home Newborn Photographer

I knew that I wanted to be a mother since a very early age. I remember playing dress up and I would swaddle and pretend to nurse my newborn baby doll. Fast forward 30 years and here I am. Mom of 2 little girls, full of life and happiness. Motherhood IS my greatest dream come true. It's insanely rewarding but equally as trying at times. Right now is one of those "trying" times. My littlest lady starts preschool this year. Registration is next week. Ugh. Like a tsunami wave it became abundantly clear. Babyhood is over. That chapter is closing.

It's a roller coaster of emotion to say it simply. Of course I'm thrilled to watch her thrive and learn and prosper. But bittersweet to watch her fly on her own. My last little bird getting ready to fly the coop. Thank goodness I have the memory of her newborn days, her toddlerhood and everything in between because it all flies by so quickly.

So Mama...

Soak up the moments of motherhood, etch them into memory and keep them there forever and be joyous about the memories to come. Our children are constantly demonstrating that time passes by too quickly but the moments we leave behind are just as beautiful as the moments to come. Just because one chapter closes, doesn’t mean that there aren’t even more wonderful ones up ahead. I am learning that in the moments where I want to fall apart, freeze time and push pause, there is beauty. Our tiny people, that are very much a huge part of who we are, are teaching us to be impassioned and soulful. XOXO - Amanda  Remembering Motherhood | Phoenix Newborn Portrait Photographer Remembering Motherhood | Phoenix Newborn Portrait Photographer Remembering Motherhood | Phoenix Newborn Portrait Photographer Remembering Motherhood | Phoenix Newborn Portrait Photographer
